Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to support the campaign to save and protect the precious Greenbelt.

It’s not about us, it’s about making sure our children grow up in a clean, healthy and sustainable community. As the climate change crisis gets worse, the Greenbelt will become our first line of defence.

Draft Development Plan Update : 300+ Submissions made by Residents, Cllrs and Community Group asking for the Greenbelt to be protected

300+ submissions were made by residents, councillors and community organisations calling for the Greenbelt to be protected.

This was the largest number of submissions made on a single issue.

This is in addition to the 400+ residents who signed a petition calling for the Greenbelt to be saved under the previous Development Plan in 2017.

Our community has delivered a clear and consistant message, the Greenbelt must be retained and protected.

Thanks to everyone who took the time to make their voice heard.
